TGF: Childish is an upcoming British-American buddy comedy film produced by Columbia Pictures, TGFbro Productions, Original Film, Amblin Entertainment Group, Google, and YouTube Studios, and distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer worldwide and Sony Pictures Releasing internationally.

The film is directed by Rob Letterman, and stars Tom Holland and Chadwick Boseman as the titular duo. It is a prequel to TGFbro and tells the origin story of how Jay and Romell met and how they became the duo that people know today.

It will be released on August 1st, 2019.

Jay Swingler was the one looking for a friend, and Romell Henry was somebody that was a hip secondary school student. However, when they found each other, their searches ended almost instantly. However, since they met each other, it's only best for them to find the right way for themselves to become popular, while finding a name for their own duo.

The movie starts off in a forest in the present day, where Jay and Romell, in their spare time, are bored. Romell has not decided on any video ideas. As the duo cannot handle any more time being bored, they go home and pick up a novel in the living room, which is the story of the film, and begin to read it.

As the camera zooms into the first page of the novel, it is revealed that it is a scene that takes place in 1995 at a hospital, where a baby is shown being born. An X-ray is shown, and it is revealed that the head is too large for the woman to push out. Having no choice, the doctors have to cut open the woman's stomach. The baby is then carefully lifted up, and is seen with blood on his body. The doctors then clean the baby, and the woman names him Jay.
