Living In Cartoontopia Isn't Hard is an upcoming live-action/2D-animated comedy-drama fantasy film directed by Sam Raimi and Tim Burton and produced by Bloo J, based on the 2006 novel by Ed-Olive Chadwick and George R.R. Martin.

Directors Raimi and Burton purchased the rights to Cartoontopia in 2007, where many other directors were interested in adapting the novel to a film.

It will be produced by Access Entertainment, Point Grey Pictures, Reliance Entertainment, Amblin Entertainment, and Jerry Bruckheimer Films, in association with Warner Animation Group, Paramount Animation, The Bloo Films, Williams Street, and Comedy Central.

It is scheduled to be released on June 26th, 2019 by Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures in 2D, 3D, RealD 3D, IMAX, IMAX 3D, and Premium Large Format Screens.

When 20-year-old Sheen Western (Andrew Garfield) is evicted from his apartment, it is impossible for him to find a new home. However, the problem is solved when he finds that Cartoontopia is free to live at, and he goes to a train station and leaves for the city.

However, trouble brews when he finds out that the co-owner of Cartoontopia has been killed, and to put everything back together, Sheen must show that he is innocent, in order to be fully welcomed. He'll run into friendly foes along the way, but he must adapt to what he is currently doing.
