In November 2018, it was announced that Netflix was developing original animated projects in-house, including Kid Cosmic, The Willoughbys, and an untitled Annoying Orange show.
In December 2019, the show's name was revealed to be Annoying Orange's Freshly-Squeezed Adventures.
